Sophie commented: The last 4 seasons have been full of the ups and downs that come with running a league and whilst I have enjoyed my time as National League Secretary, I feel it’s now time to let someone else take on the challenge for the 2018-19 season and beyond. However, I am happy to help and offer my support to help my successor settle into the role. I look forward to completing the rest of the 2017-18 season and ensuring it is a successful one for all. The WFA Executive committee would like to take this opportunity to thank Sophie for all her hard work and dedication over the last four seasons. She has had a fantastic impact on the running of all the competitions and she will be missed by all. The WFA will release further information about the role and nomination process in the New Year.
