With just a couple of months to go until the 2019 EPFA Nations Cup, England Powerchair Head Coach Colin Gordon has named his squad for the competition in Finland.

The squad of 8 players retains 6 members from the 2017 FIPFA World Cup in Florida. The two new additions to the squad are Brad Bates and Gregg Baxter, both of whom will be determined to make their England debuts during the competition and have a positive impact.

Brad Bates               (West Bromwich Albion PFC)

Gregg Baxter           (Brighton & Hove Albion PFC)

Jon Bolding              (Aspire PFC)

Ed Common              (Northern Thunder PFC)

Matt Francis             (West Bromwich Albion PFC)

Chris Gordon            (West Bromwich Albion PFC)

Marcus Harrison       (West Bromwich Albion PFC)

Sam Smith                (Northern Thunder PFC)

After naming his squad, Colin Gordon was full of praise for his players;

I'm delighted to announce the squad ahead of the Euro's. Our training camps have gone extremely well with some great football played at a high intensity. Both Brad and Gregg have slotted into the squad with the rest of the lads and have already developed their understanding of how we play. I'm looking forward to our final camps and look forward to us showcasing our abilities in May.

Everyone at the WFA would like to congratulate the squad on being selected and wish them the best of luck with their final preparations ahead of their travels to Finland.
