The WFA recognise the importance of having a workforce with the necessary skills required to support the development and running of our game. As an organisation we have designed and implemented an education programme to address this.

The Introduction to Coaching Powerchair Football provides participants with an understanding of Powerchair Football.  Theory including equipment, rules of the game and insight into the types of disability players have run smoothly alongside participants learning about the skills and match play involved in the sport.

Our coaching course blends the knowledge and experience of those from within disability and football, combining the two in order to produce our coaches.

This course has been approved by the FA, but is delivered by the WFA due to the expertise required.  The WFA would recommend all coaches look to attend additional FA training to continue their development.
