The Wheelchair Football Association is pleased to reveal details of the first female-specific Powerchair Football Festival.

Taking place on January 25 at the University of Hertfordshire's Sports Village (AL10 9EU), the Female Powerchair Football Festival is open to new and existing players of all ages.

The Female Powerchair Football Festival is a joint initiative by The WFA, Muscular Dystrophy UK and the Football Association. The festival aims to both increase female participation numbers in Powerchair Football and increase awareness of the females currently within the sport. The event is free to attend and open to all females with a physical impairment, existing female players, female coaches and female match officials.
