The WFA will be holding the 2018 Club Conference and Annual General Meeting on Saturday, 9th June 2018 at the East Midlands Conference Centre in Nottingham.

This event will host the WFA Annual General Meeting, which will take place at 11:45.

The event is FREE to attend, but you will need to have complete Registration before arrival.

The format of the day will be as follows:
09:30 - Arrival & Registration
10:15 - Welcome address
10:45 - Workshop One
11:45 - WFA Annual General Meeting
13:15 - Lunch (A buffet lunch will be provided)
14:00 - Workshop Two
15:00 - Workshop Three
16:00 - Networking opportunity
16:30 - Event close

Workshop Session One:

The FA Powerchair Talent Pathway 

Sam Bull, WFA National Development Manager will provide an overview of the new FA Talent programme for Powerchair Football. 

Calling all Referees 

Martin Bevan, WFA Head of Referee Development will lead a workshop open to all qualified officials.

Workshop Session Two:

Sportswik - social media to bring realtime match action to all

Tony Snow from Sportswik will deliver a workshop on how clubs can use the power of Sportwik to engage with the wider football community.

Safeguarding in Powerchair Football

Ricky Stevenson will lead a workshop to consult with clubs about future Safeguarding issues facing powerchair football.

Player Representative Forum

Cath McNicol, WFA Player Representative will lead a forum of Club Player representatives to provide feedback to the WFA. 

Laws of the Game Forum

Martin Bevan, WFA Head of Referee Development will lead a discussion on the current Laws of the Game and provide an opportunity for coaches and players to ask questions.

Workshop Session Three:

Coaches Forum

Adam McEvoy, WFA Tutor & FA Disability Consultant will lead a forum for coaches to discuss future ways of working together. 

WFA Fundraising Platform

Sam Bull, WFA National Development Manager will deliver a workshop to highlight the potential of the WFA website to support clubs to raise funds to support their activities.

Market place:

There will be a market place in operation on the day.
