Powerchair Football is much more than just a game. It brings disabled people and their families into a world they didn’t know existed and opens their eyes to how life can be. Powerchair football has created friendships, competitive rivalries, memories and even marriages – it changes people’s lives.

Why donate to the WFA?

Unfortunately, powerchair football is just not a "jumpers for goalposts" type of sport and therefore we need your help!  The players require specialist equipment to play, we use a specific type of ball and even our goalposts are different! All in all, this means that we require funding to help get teams up and running, deliver competitions and training events, as well as money to help us cover our day to day running costs.

Your money (no matter how much or little) will be used to enhance the lives of people with a high level of disability, to enable them to take part in our version of the nation's favourite sport.

I have always loved football and powerchair football gives me the opportunity to take part in my favourite sport.  The sport has given me so much and you just can’t beat the feeling of scoring goals!

Fancy becoming a fundraiser for us?

Fundraising is a great way to get involved with our charity and provides us with an essential source of income. Without this fantastic support we would not be able to continue offering the range of opportunities that we currently do for disabled people, enabling them to participate in a sport they love.

Fundraising is an exciting way to use your skills, talents and expertise. It can get you out of your comfort zone, doing something that you'd never normally do – whilst raising money for a great cause.
