Forming a Club... the first steps

Click here to Contact the WFA If you are looking to start a Powerchair Football Club, it is important that you start out correctly to ensure that the club becomes sustainable and a success in the long term.

Firstly, it is important to do a little local research;

  • Where is the nearest Powerchair Football club to you?
  • Are there any local groups or organisations that may want to help you?
  • Contact you local County FA and any Football Teams to see if they are already trying to start some activity.
  • Where are you going to recruit your players from?
  • Who is going to run/coach your sessions?
  • Where are you going to base your club (training facility)?
