Meet the Player Representative
Hi, my name is Rob Thompson and I am the current WFA Player Representative. The purpose of my role is to represent the views of all players on the WFA Executive committee. I attend all meetings and contribute when discussions take place and choices are being made for the game in our country.
In order for me to do this effectively, it is important that every player has the opportunity to pass on their views and opinions. I will then endeavour to make sure these are heard and considered at every meeting. We, as players, are the vital component of the game and it is important that we work with the WFA and our partners to help the sport continue to grow.
To enable me to be effective in my role, it is important to develop ways to build links and communication routes between players. We have created the WFA Facebook group, please join this and use it as one of our tools to share ideas and information for the game of Powerchair Football.

I have also created an online Players’ survey to gather views on a number of current issues. If you have not already completed this please take the opportunity to do so. The results obtained from this will provide me with a base to work from and help develop several ideas from the information.
