The FIPFA World Cup 2011 will take place in Paris, France from the 30th October until 7th November 2011.

The event will be hosted by French Federation Handisports and will see 10 countries competing to be crowned World Champions. The USA will be aiming to retain the trophy after their success at the inaugural event in 2007.

The teams will be drawn into two “Qualification Pools”, with the top two from each group progressing to the knock out (Semi-finals and Final) stages.

The team travelling to Paris will include 8 players, 3 coaches and 9 carers. 10 Players will be in the squad that train for the event with final selection taking place prior to departure. The National Team require support for the training programme to prepare for the FIPFA World Cup 2011.
