Equipment Required for Wheelchair Football
Wheelchair Football is a sport that requires specialist equipment, in order to play it safely and within the WFA rules. The WFA is currently in the process of working with a number of companies in order to develop a range of equipment that can be used for Wheelchair Football.
Below lists all the equipment that has currently apprioved and used by the WFA.
The Balls
Match Ball
A specific football (33cm / 13" diameter).
Circumference : 106cm ± 2cm (41.5").
Pressure : 0.3 bar, 4.5 psi.

Playing Attachment / Protection System
At present there are two makes of Playing Attachment that have been sanctioned by the WFA. The style of attachment will be down to player choice and possibly the style of wheelchair, in order to achieve the most comfortable result.
The Pusher attachment
Cost: £404.00 plus VAT and Delivery (includes one set of Clips) - Discounts available for bulk orders.
Additional Clips: £17.00 - £32.00 (dependent on make of Wheelchair)

Competition Wheelchairs
The WFA are currently in negotiation with a number of wheelchair manufacturers and testing different models in order to make recommendations, regarding suitable Wheelchairs.
