Equipment Required for Wheelchair Football
Wheelchair Football is a sport that requires specialist equipment, in order to play it safely and within the WFA rules. The WFA is continuing to work with a number of companies in order to develop a range of equipment that can be used for Wheelchair Football.
Below lists all the equipment that has currently approved and used by the WFA.
Footballs
All our footballs are supplied exclusively from Davies Sports. The WFA and Davies Sports have worked in partnership to develop these balls and they are available from www.daviessports.co.uk
Match Ball
This is the official sanctioned football used for all games and competitions.

Goalposts

These come as a Set of 4 bases and 4 posts that are removeable for ease of storage. The bases are powder-coated and come with Neoprene pads to protect any floor damage. They have been designed to deflect a football, but will move when pushed by a Powerchair.
