News: WFA National Wheelchair Football Development Manager

The Wheelchair Football Association is looking to appoint a National Wheelchair Football Development Manager.

Full time 3-year post (Post continuation subject to funding).

Salary – £27,000 - £30,000

This is a unique career opportunity to drive forward the development of the Powerchair game; the main aim of the role is to increase the number of opportunities for participation/competition at all levels across England.

Do you have an understanding of community-based sports development programmes and of partnership working?

Do you have experience of applying for funding?

Do you have experience of leading community-based disability programmes

Do you have a commitment to maximising the opportunity for disabled people to access high quality football provision?

Do you have strong organisational, communication and interpersonal skills?

Do you have experience of project development and management?

Do you have an understanding of local and national government policy?

Do you have an understanding of sports policy and the impact of sport on communities?
