News: Update from WFA England Head Coach
2009-09-15
Following the first England trials weekend event of 2009/10 season, the National Team Head Coach released the following statement.
The WFA National Team Head Coach would like to thank the following players for the attendance and commitment at the recent first England trials weekend:
Sam Bull (Aspire PFC)
Nicky Baker (Aspire PFC)
Jamil Khan (Northern Thunder)
Harry Boddy (Northern Thunder)
Amir Ali (Villa Rockets)
Ryan O’Leary (Aspire 2)
Dan Stevens (Valence)
Adam Yuill (Gillingham Mean Machines)
Can I stress that this is the first of three sessions, we are hoping to hold during the 2009/10 season.
The WFA are currently working on a further two camps and players will be invited in due course as soon as the date and venue have been finalised.
Can I also take this opportunity to thank the parents and carers of the players for giving up their time and support to the weekend. I would also like to thank the coaches who assisted me in the running of the camp.
I am looking forward to another highly competitive National League season and hope to see the continued development of all teams and rise in standards of play.
Yours in Sport,
Allen Harrison
WFA Head Team Coach
