2009-04-15
The England National Powerchair football team requires Assistant coaches to work alongside the Head coach.
The WFA Executive committee would like to invite current players, ex-players, coaches or managers to apply for a position within the English national team for Assistant Coaches to work alongside the Head Coach in developing a squad with the aim of competing in up and coming International tournaments.
All positions are on a voluntary basis and you would be required to commit to certain training camps which will be held throughout the country over the next 18 months. Travel expenses and accommodation will be paid. You will also be required to travel with the squad to tournaments/competitions as necessary.
The ultimate goal is to prepare a squad capable of competing at the highest level. Potential coaches will be invited to attend an England squad training weekend to deliver a variety of activities thus enabling the selection panel to observe coaching and communication skills.
Anyone interested in applying for the posts please send a current CV of experience in powerchair football to allen@thewfa.org.uk
