News: Awards For All Funding

The WFA has been sucessful in a application to the National Lottery Awards For All scheme for funding towards the running of the WFA National League competition.
This is a kick-start grant. The funding will be used to purchase a large amount of equipment that is needed to run the League events. This includes the new Goal Posts, electronic Scoreboards, and a portable PA system.
More of the has been allocated to help with some of the costs for the 2007/08 Season. This will go towards the Hire of the Venue and Payment of Referees.
The WFA are continuing in their work to find Sponsorship for the National League in seasons to come.
