News: WFA Executive Committee Statement

2007-10-03

The WFA Logo

The Wheelchair Football Association would like to issue the following statement regarding the Executive Committee and any actions, decisions or comments by its members:

The WFA Executive Committee consists of a number of volunteers. These volunteers have been elected at the WFA AGM by all the affiliated members to various roles within the committee. These Committee members then work extremely hard to develop the sport within England. All decisions are made by the Executive Committee, not individuals and a set voting procedure is followed when decisions must be made.

All Executive Committee members have jobs and responsibilities away from Wheelchair Football, but at WFA Events and meetings they are representing and working for the WFA. Any actions or decisions that are carried out by the Executive Committee are done so on behalf of the WFA. Any issues or concerns that any Club, Player or spectator may have should be directed to the WFA.

The WFA has a set procedure for this type of situation, and issues will be dealt with following these guidelines.

We thank you for your understanding regarding such situations.

The WFA Executive Committee.
