WFA Coaching Course Requirements
The WFA are running a series of Coaching courses, in order to train new coaches to deliver Powerchair Football. These courses will take place in various locations around the Country.

In order to run a course in an area, the WFA need to ensure a number of criteria can be met:
Participants
- The maximum number of candidates that can attend is 20.
- The course can not be run unless a minimum of 15 candidates register.
Venue
- A classroom for 20 people available from 9am - 4:30pm (or equivalent).
- A classroom with projector and screen.
- A Sports Hall with full-size basketball court (2 * 2 Hour sessions).
- Suitable "Disabled Facilities" and access (including Parking).
Playing Equipment
- Use of a minimum of 8 Powerchairs with sanctioned Playing attachments.
- Footballs, Goalposts, Slalom cones and a variety of other coaching equipment.
- A Tool Box (including Pump, Marking Tape and Tape measure).
The WFA can provide this equipment, but there may be an additional cost in order to transport all the equipment.
Players
- The afternoon practical requires a minimum of 5 (ideally 8) current Players to attend. This is to allow a number of advanced drills and game play to be demonstrated.
The WFA will work with local Clubs to recruit these players.
