The WFA Logo About the Wheelchair Football Association

The WFA was formed in 2005 to govern the sport of Wheelchair Football in England.

The WFA are recognised by the FA (Football Association) as the sports governing body and have their full backing. The WFA are currently in negotiations with a number of other Disability Sports Organisations, including the British Wheelchair Sports Association, in order to move the sport forward.

The Association currently consists of a number of Sport Development Officers, Football Coaches, Players and other professionals. At present all the committee members are working on a voluntary basis.

The Association is in the process of trying to source funding to enable more events and activities to be organised.

If you feel that you may be able to help or advise the WFA in its work to develop the game, please
